These procedures and mechanisms are collectively referred to as the Special Procedures of the Commission on Human Rights" (Commission web site).
The Commission was assisted in its work by the Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights, several working groups as well as rapporteurs on specific issues. The OHCHR web site provides access to documents, reports and news of the Commission.
