The Central European Free Trade Agreement is agreed upon in 1992 by the Czech Republic, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Poland and the Slovak Republic to promote harmonious economic relations between the parties by the removal of barriers to trade so as to improve living and employemnt conditions. The Agreement has been expanded to include Slovenia, Romania, and Bulgaria.
