|Description:||The Rome Statute (here in PDF) is the founding document of the International Criminal Court. It was drafted by the United Nations Diplomatic Conference of Plenipotentiaries on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court and builds upon the work done by the International Law Commission on its 1994 Draft Statute for an International Criminal Court and on the 1996 Draft Code of Crimes Against the Peace and Security of Mankind.
