Description: The Cotonou Agreement is in force until 2020, and is open to revision every five years. Currently, ACP has 79 member states. This agreement follows the series of the four Lome Conventions which lasted from 1975 to 2000. This Agreement is aimed at advancing the economic, cultural and social development of the ACP States, a group of African, Caribbean, and Pacific states.
