Description: SAPTA is an agreement among the countries of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). SAARC includes Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. SAPTA aims to promote regional cooperation and trade through exchanging concessions. SAPTA may consist of arrangements relating to tariffs, nontariff measures and direct trade measures. Includes Appendices with additional measures, national schedules of concessions and rules of origin. The agreement is available in HTML and PDF.
