| Description: | This Convention sets limits on the extent of liability for two kinds of maritime claims: personal injury or death, and damage to ships, harborworks, and other property. It permits persons to limit liability except where "it is proved that the loss resulted from his personal act or omission, committed with the intent to cause such a loss, or recklessly and with knowledge that such loss would probably result." |
