|Description:||The National Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade is a research and educational institution affiliated with the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. The aim of the Center is to develop the legal infrastructure to build trade capacity and promote economic development in the Americas. A selection of topics includes alternative dispute resolution, competition policy, electronic commerce, business facilitation, secured transactions and transportation.
The Center has developed the InterAm Legal Database of laws, regulations and secondary source materials for countries in the Americas. This collection is updated daily and arranged in over 25 topical areas related to trade and investment. InterAm is a subscription database. Check Supplementary Materials under the InterAm link for a selection of free articles and publications arranged by country. These materials are available in English or Spanish.
The Center also provides translation and legislative research services.
