|Title:||A Global Alliance against Forced Labour: Global Report under the Follow-up to the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights to Work|
|Description:||This is the 2005 Global Report on forced labor. As part of the Follow-up to the Declaration, the ILO Director-General submits a Global Report on one of the four categories of fundamental principles and rights at work to the tripartite International Labour Conference. The report has the following aims: 1) defines "forced labour" under international law and discusses some parameters for identifying situations in practice; 2) it provides the first minimum global estimate on the number of people in forced labour; and 3) provides a global picture of contemporary patterns of forced labour, and action to eradicate it.
The report is available in PDF only.
