Description: The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (CERD) specifies the measures that States must undertake to eliminate racial discrimination. The Convention also established the monitoring body, the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The version of the document available from the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights web site provide ratifications, declarations and reservations, and a link to the Committee.
