||Founded in 1996, Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) promotes health by protecting human rights. The members work in a wide range of areas, such as banning landmines, working to end the AIDS epidemic, ending torture, and more.
The web site provides information about PHR's projects, a newsroom, publications, and links. Of particular interest is Research & Investigations section of the site. It provides access to documents and reports for many topics (chemical weapons, children, prisons, public health effects of conflicts). There is also a collection of International Law and Standards regarding Health and Human Rights.
