Description: The Convention for the Conservation of Salmon in the North Atlantic Ocean was created to collect and improve scientific information on salmon stocks in the North Atlantic Ocean, and to promote the conservation and management of salmon stocks in the North Atlantic Ocean. The Convention created the North Atlantic Salmon Conservation Organization (NASCO) to implement its provisions.
