|Description:||The International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), an independent non-profit and non-governmental organization, was established in Geneva in September 1996 to promote a clearer understanding of the relationship of development and environment concerns in international trade.
Highlights of this extensive site include BRIDGES, Weekly Trade News Digest (1997-present), a newsletter that provides a review of trade-related articles and information on sustainable development. Available in German, Spanish, French and Russian.
Issue areas cover Africa, agriculture, environment, services and intellectual property. Each issue area includes publications, resources, documents, and newsletters.
Under Publications find the ICTSD Series that compiles policy papers, case studies and executive summaries of special relevance, produced or mandated by ICTSD.
